Real del Sol is located just a few minutes from the historical center, where you could visit  magnificent historic buildings such as  Cortes Palace (Palacio de Cortes), mural paintings from the great artist Diego Rivera, the livelihood of "el zocalo" (downtown's main plaza), pyramids of Teopanzolco, El Salto de San Antonio, the magnificent Cathedral, and many other attractions.

 For short daytrips you can find amazing sites such as the biologic corridor  Ajusco- Chichinautzin, the lagoons of  Zempoala, the archeological zone of Xochicalco, the Tepozteco and much more.
